Steam Deck is delayed until the beginning of 2022

With just a few weeks remaining for its launch in certain territories, Valve has decided to delay the debut of Steam Deck. Originally designed to get to the market in December this year, who sought to acquire this machine now They should be expected until the beginning of 2022.

Through a new statement published in the official blog of Valve, the following is mentioned:

The launch of Steam Deck will be delayed two months. We are very sorry because we did everything possible to avoid problems in the distribution chain, but due to the shortage of materials, our factories or production centers are not receiving the components on time to meet the initial launch dates.

Valve Has Delayed The Release Of The Steam Deck

According to our updated assembly estimate, we will start sending Steam Deck at the beginning of February 2022. This will be the new date of the reservations list; The position of the reservations on the waiting list will remain the same, but the delivery limit will be adjusted accordingly. The estimated dates of reservations will be updated shortly after this ad.

Once again, we feel a lot that we can not meet the original delivery date. We will continue working to try to advance the new reservation dates and stay informed as we re advancing.

As you can see, Valve is also suffering from scarcity in terms of chips and microcomponents as well as other major manufacturers on the planet. Luckily, the company will respect the positions of all those who reserve the Steam Deck, but even they should be expected until February 2022.

Editor s note: Honestly I did I think that Valve would be able to deliver the Steam Deck on time, especially because during the last weeks they were inviting several important figures of the industry for Hands-ON sessions with the device.

The Director of the Astral Chain shares the fact that the game has sold

The creation of a new intellectual property has become a rarity these days. Many things we consume in the media are either a remake or the continuation of a pre-existing property that we all know. Platoon was a whole new game released on the Wii U in 2015 and ended up being a great success for Nintendo. They will later attempt to reproduce this success by publishing other new properties on the switch, such as bras and chase astral. We were really impre...
