The creation of a new intellectual property has become a rarity these days. Many things we consume in the media are either a remake or the continuation of a pre-existing property that we all know. It seems that the original and fresh ideas can no longer thrive in the current market, regardless of the media.
There are, however, exceptions. Sometimes a new IP address will appear from nowhere and will surprise everyone. Nintendo publishes a new IP on their consoles for some time now, releasing several new games that were not a suite or remake of a pre-existing property. They come out of these new IPs in tangent with their usual Mario and Zelda games, having a reasonable balance between the old and the new in their exit schedule.
Platoon was a whole new game released on the Wii U in 2015 and ended up being a great success for Nintendo. They will later attempt to reproduce this success by publishing other new properties on the switch, such as bras and chase astral.

The police use unique chimeras called legions to fight against enemies and protect what remains of humanity.
